Quality Assurance
A stringent quality assurance program is the key to a safe
and healthy environment for animals and for the production of
quality research models.
Monash Animal Services is committed to maintaining the quality
and health of our animals. Frequent testing of serology, bacteriology,
histopathology, and parasitology by independant laboratories underpins
our regime.
The MAS Compliance Committee reviews legislation and all relevant
industry codes of practice and guides to ensure that Monash Animal
Services maintains compliance. Where possible, we aim to exceed
current standards and pioneer new levels of quality.
