These training modules are run for Monash Staff and Students by Monash Animal Services

Please Note: In the Practical Modules techniques will be taught using anaesthetised rats & mice. At the end of each of these modules, as required in all animal experiments involving any manipulation, the animals are humanely killed.
Basic Handling of Rats & Mice

- How to administer substances by different routes
- Blood sampling techniques including the volumes acceptable and frequency
Rodent Anaesthesia

Surgical Techniques in Rats & Mice
